The Globe and Mail is announcing that the internet-advertising business for the exchange is now available for $49 per month.
The Globe said that this new offer is a “significant milestone for our online advertising business,” and that “the new plan will give Globe advertisers more flexibility with ad placement and advertising budgets.”
The Globe says it is now offering the new plan “for users who have a Globe subscription.”
The Globe said it will continue to offer the online ad platform in the future, and that it is committed to the continued growth of its business.
“Our goal is to create an ad platform that is both compelling to advertisers and accessible to the entire Globe family,” Globe CEO and president and chief operating officer Jim Schmitt said in a statement.
“We have invested heavily in improving the efficiency and reliability of our advertising platform, including by introducing new tools to manage our advertising budgets and optimize their effectiveness.”
The company also said that “We will continue our efforts to improve and expand our marketing strategy.”
